When he tries throwing punches whit out his feet being planted , he is way off balance and it looks as though he is winging his punches aimlessly .. (Very Ugly)
Hmm I don't see that as something positive when in the ring with Cotto....it could be quite self-destructive.
We weren't talking about fighting Cotto. It was a discussion about fighting Mayweather. He won't have to worry about it with Cotto because Cotto doesn't throw ANY punches without having his feet under him to start with. And Cotto is methodical enough to be caught. :yep

For the most part, all some posters wil do is say who they think will win. You don't really get a "How he'll do it" w/o some generic info about how good Floyd's Defense is or how fast his hands are. JUst saying their attributes or giving a ague descriptions of the fighter does NOT equal an analysis of a fight.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. Margo has to set his feet to be effective. Sure he throw punches but they won't have any snap nor will they be very accurate. Not to mention he'll be off balance and out of position making for an easy counter oppurtunity because that's not his game. What's so hard to understand? He's effective when he's allowed to set his feet aaginst a stationary target and not effective if he has to move. Lance you really don't know **** about boxing do you? Don't you realize a fighter's workrate will drop when he faces a moving target look at the Williams-Quintana fight. Williams throws 100 punches a round but not against Carlos because he moved on Paul's ass. PBF-Margo would be no different. Margo would be moving forward pawing his jab trying to find PBF in the meantime he's not throwing like he normally does just getting beat to the punch and eating counters. His workrate will drop by half and his connect percentage will be less than 20%.:deal
Yeah...my bad, because PBF would'nt be able to take advantage of an off balance attack the way Cotto can atsch And I agree Cotto would not be able to throw punches unless his feet where under him, I find it quite difficult for Cotto to throw punches effectively when his feet set on his shoulders or hanging off the sides of his neck :yep Seriously though Cotto has the ability to throw with his heels set to the canvas as well as throwing effectivily off his toes and backpeddling.......so I don't agree.
i don't like Margarito's skills but i like his attitude in the ring. He's like a shitty version of Morales.
