Ok let me put it this way, even some would say we're playing with words here.

A unanimous decision might not be close, based on your logic that all judges award the fight to the same guy. But the fight itself CAN be close, in terms of competitiveness and very small point differential.

    [/edit]

For example PBF beat DLH by Split Decision, and according to you that shows us it was a close fight. Do you think it was a close fight?

No. But this scenario can be played out with 1000 other fights. We can only comment on AM-Williams...

Anyway, I believe you got my point.
A SD can sometimes be a clear win, and a UD can sometimes be a closer win.

Might as well call it the I Love Floyd Mayweather Jr. Coalition. You just need to add bigtime9, toopretty and unbeatablefloyd and you'll have a perfect little lovefest going on. Everyone will think like you do so you can pour on the praise while giving each other virtual high fives.

I did get your point. People didn't think Floyd beat Castillo uanimously. People had a problem with that decision. Nobody I know had a problem with Williams beating AM, not even his promotor who had to apologize to Goosen for AM's accusations.

 Add Nallege to that list. He's as ridiculous as those guys. Hell, just look at how he posts. Does he talk about anything actually related to boxing? Nope. He just htinks he knows all the happenings in negotiations an such. He's DESPERATE for someone to post with him, which is why he'll jump in any discussion, no matter how out of his league he is.

Does it make you feel better to think you're getting me angry? You try to make that comment frequently. There's no reason to get angry at an idiot like you. Your posts are a joke and that's what youa re. And I laugh at jokes. :yep

We aren't talking about all of those times. We are talking about AM-Williams. That was not a controversial unanimous decision. That was clear cut.

This argument doesn't work that well for Margo (definitely for Paul Williams though) as Margo isn't very technically proficient and doesn't use his height advantage at all. Its really his work rate and chin that got him past Cotto and obviously a bigger guy will take punches better but it isn't the only factor of a good chin, he is obviously just genetically blessed.

Paul Williams is just a freak in terms of his height and skinny build but Margo doesn't really fall into that category imo, he has a size advantage but to be honest he doesn't use it that well, if he was 2 or 3 inches shorter he would be more powerful and could still effectively use his high work rate pressure style (maybe even more effectively with that extra muscle).
