Antuofermo vs. Valdez

    Going by records and performance, it is hard not to choose Rodrigo 'Rocky' Valdez,
    by anything less than a TKO, by mid-late stoppage.

    But Vito did suprise many, with workman-like performances.
    But Rodrigo's hard punches would have to open up Vito's sharp eyebrow's sometime in
    that fight..........

    Valdez is badly underestimated by many here...and you, Il Duce are right for the most part in that Valdez would bust up Vito, but the fight would end in a crushing knockout for Valdez, who wouldn't be able to miss Vito's chin with the same kind of power shot that he was able to crush Briscoe and deck Monzon with. Valdez was a lethal puncher with greater one punch power than Hagler and Vito's chin would have been as available to detonate off of as Briscoe's..maybe even more so. Valdez is penalized here for the way he was after he had shot his bolt with Monzon....not by you so much, but by too many others.
