i actually have this crazy feeling Werdum is gonna beat Overeem with a SUB after getting smashed for a while and close to being stopped.
Barnett's ability to close the distance, and get the take down, are the only challenge he face on the side of the bracket he's on. That is a significant hurdle that he could get finished trying to clear, but he should be able to defeat any of those guys if he can. The only guys that can put Barnett on his back, grappling wise, are in the other Bracket. Silva is a big, strong, dangerous man with a bjj black belt. I think he is too slow to avoid Fedor's right hand, but if he can; he'll be hard for Fedor to beat. I think the first two fights will be Fedor's toughest challenges. Overeem should be too much for Werdum standing. If he can keep the fight standing, Overeem should win. Overeem's best chance with Fedor is to be patient, and continually beat Fedor to the strike. If he in any way lets the fight turn into a battle of wills, he will fold. Overeem's speed should be the difference if he were to face Silva. I can't see Werdum being able to get 3 wins in row here, but he is a threat to win against any of these guys head to head.
Josh knocks everybody out cold! Nah, it'll be a fun ride and really all these guys have a shot. I also like all of them and wouldn't mind seeing anyone winning...although my hope is that it's Barnett or Overeem.
i see a more focussed fedor regaining his status as world number one...he will take some punishment as always but he will find a way...as always
