He's got to stop getting lured into toe to toe episodes, but with these Mexican fighters mate it's almost as if you can't avoid it. From the outside and behind a constant jab, he's almost perfect.
Supernaturals don't lose 2 fights to C- level fighters and one F level fighter. I hate boxrec for ownage but this lets see you explain this. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=106095&cat=boxer 1-20 the only win in his carrer over your false God, now shut the **** up about Jermain Taylor.
He tried to sit on his punches and Knock Navarro out after he figured him out and felt safe after round 10. In round 1 he was a deer in headlights. He couldnt b/c he does not have THAT punch. His jab is just insane though. Thats a thing of beauty. :bbb
Guzman is good...not great. Mijares is great....not good. I dont think Am is ready to admit it just yet tho.
:yep How silly of you to suggest that any of those losses have anything to do with what he's developed and still currently developing into, did you know that he had no amatuer career and turned pro for the intent to make college money?:yep I wonder where Taylor would be without that vast amatuer pedigree, probably a career criminal, guy has no brains.:yep But, let's take 3 early career losses and hold them against a guy who had no amatuer career and think it has anything to do with what he is now.
Mijares did a beautiful job tonight. If he cut Navarro a few rounds earlier than the 11th, he could have stopped him, but it doesn't really matter. He showed why he is nearly a flawless fighter and it was amazing to see how sharp he is. His accuracy is unreal. Compare that to the "P4P" headliner fighters, Pavlik and Taylor, who had a sloppy ass fight but will get more respect from fans than a boxing master who stands right in front of his opponents like Mijares. I have zero doubts Mijares would not only beat Montiel, but destroy him. Montiel is extremely easy to hit and has trouble with movers. Mijares could stop him, it'll depend on how Montiel reacts to getting owned.. will he start to fight a lot fight more tentatively or will he try to go all out and give everything he's got to stop Mijares. If he tries to push for a win, I think he'll get knocked out or stopped on cuts. BTW, what's up with this 120-108 score? Was that a mistake? It's the single worst score I've ever seen in my life.
I mean if he lost by a fluke knockout is one thing, but to lose on points to a guy that never won..lol
He was 4-0 going into a fight with a fighter who didn't have a single win in his carrer (something like 0-5) plus he lost to a guy with only 3 professional fights when Mijares had nearly 15 fights in as a professional. Mijares isn't developing any further, he is at his peak right now and is a very good to great figher but he does not post half the resmue of a Jermain Taylor, now like I said shut the **** up about JT. That is almost like a 4-0 JT losing to Erik Crumble.
