Im not being sarcastic, seriously, straight question, Is there any more news regarding Zuffa's takeover of Boxing, particularly with regard to the Saudis pulling out of sports quicker than a catholic in an orgy? There's supposed to be a UK Zuffa show on Sky next month, will a UK Zuffa show ever take place ? Also, any news on the Boxxer Sky legal thing thats going to blow boxing apart ?

I find it very very very hard to believe that the news that is going to shock the world of sport has resulted in Caroline Dubois headlining a show on Sky. Surely Frank Maloney becoming Kelly Maloney was bigger news than anything involving Caroline Dubois headling on Sky. Ive got a feeling that Ben has got carried away with his own feelings of self importance.

I think it's more a case of there head of boxing (John Wischhusen). Trying to do a deal for his own promotional company with sky while he's been employed by boxer on 100k per year. It also has something to do with Shaa Wasmund, who funnily enough used to manage Chris eubank

Could anything at all in boxing even move the needle with the general public let alone shake the world of sport?!

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but the interest in boxing has declined to the point it is little more than a fringe sport. Most credible news outlets barely give it the time of day, broadcasters have lost interest and fans have stopped showing up in numbers.

Just take a look at this forum. Hard core boxing fans and barely a couple of dozen posts for a few stale subjects in the last week. Joe Public couldn't give a flying

The casual fan has left boxing since matchroom left sky in my opinion. You need a great promotional company paired with a great broadcaster, I'm sure when sky finds it's feet again in the boxing world it will boom. You only have to look at warren a few years ago kicking off at sky for not making it easy to purchase BT PPV. Sky TV Is in everyone's living room and everyone knows about the big fights. I think netflix, with there reach can really make boxing big again
