I hear you on that. I read where a lot people are saying that Mikey is fast but I just don't see that. He's technically sound with good ring IQ but I just don't see these extraordinary skills people keep talking about.

 

Mikey is not fast but his timing is superb. What weight does Spence usually come in at on fight night?

 

I'm anticipating an outcome vaguely resembling that of Usyk vs Bellew; with Mikey surprising his detractors and winning rounds early on before the sheer volume of Spence's punches begin to wear him down as the fight wears on, culminating in a late stoppage victory for Spence. Hope I'm wrong though and Mikey pulls off a legendary upset.

 

Spence is not taking Mikey lightly at all. He knows that Mikey has dug as deep as he could in his preparation and he has responded in kind. He is ready to put it on Mikey like Mikey has never had it put on him. No mercy and no looking back. He is gonna out box him and he is gonna out fight him. Mikey will probably have some decent rounds but he will fall and fall hard.

It wouldn't be a shock to me if Garcia won. But the opposite result wouldn't be a shock either.

Anything can happen in boxing. Really looking forward to this one.

 

I see this going to a decision. This reminds me a bit of Ward-Kov 1, except those two were exact same size so Andre's job was easier.
Mikey is giving up size, so he'll have to work hard to get a decision.

 

To get a better gauge of how this fight will play out you can break down the khan canello & the brook golovkin fights, make comparisons between canelo golovkin & spences atributes, then do the same with khan brook & mikey, keeping in mind the stylistic attributes of the fighters. I see canelo & golovkin as superior to spence, i see mikey as superior to khan and brook with a style that will aid him against the bigger man, good chance this goes 12. I got mikey on a split.

I think Mikey has more than enough about him to spring an upset, ad it wouldn't be an upset to me, I've always rated him very highly. He's a better boxer than Brook, who was winning rounds against Spence.
