Sweet Pea is one of the best fighters to ever lace up the gloves, skillwise he could be in fact the best.

If Pac beats Cotto and Mayweather he's top10 ? What, ahead of people like Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler etc ?

You cant honestly think that surely ?

He'd have a pretty deep resume, he'd have to be.

I can't believe you're trying to educate me on Sweet Pea, who's one of my favourite fighters lol

Leonard has a few very, very good wins, and H2H he's one of the best, but his win over Hagler is so debatable (and that was a way past it Hagler)

His wins over Benitez and Hearns are fantastic, but his 2nd win over Duran is a joke IMO

Whitaker is in my top 10, for Pac to reach these dizzy heights, he will have to beat Mayweather.

Dont kid yourself... if Pac beats only Mayweather, he is top 10.... what do fighters have to do these days ?

Leonard hadnt fought in 3 yrs & had 1 fight in the past 5/6 yrs when he stepped in the ring to face the bigger, no1 p4p, unbeaten in 11 yrs Hagler & he outboxed him fair & square, nothing debatable in my eyes.

Why was the 2nd Duran fight a joke ? :huh
Because SRL won more than likely... & won well.

Leonard is top 10, 1 of the absolute best ever, with names on his record like no other.

Pac is already ahead of Hagler IMO and if he beats PBF, he is well ahead..this is coming from a huge Hagler fan. Even right now, you take Hagler's best win, a MW Tommy Hearns and I dont think that win is as good as Pac's best wins, destruction of MAB or Hatton. Sure their not as great as Hearns but MAB was a greater FW than Hearns was a MW. Hatton arguably a greater JWW than Hearns was a MW, on top of that Pac was the smaller man. Hagler has his defenses, Pac has his championship fights along with it being in 6 divisions, 4-5 original weight divisions.

It's Haglers consistency and H2H ability that give him a high ranking in my book......top 20 for sure. Pac can surpass him though.

H2h ability Autofermo gave him a very hard time, lost a controversial one first time isnt it? He was outboxed by a guy who was out for 5 years. Pac proved his H2H ability 5 original weight classes above his first championship...this would be equivalent to Hagler proving his H2H ability against a HW 10 years down the line. Pac has lost once in 10 years...pretty consistent too I say.

Hagler is a great fighter, above Hopkins in my book, but if Hop is top 40, Hagler is top 30, Pac IMO is top 20.

I cannot wait until this ridiculous Pacquiao bandwagon gets derailed. He's looked great in his last three fights. However, he fought the worst of the lightweight champions, a weight drained skeleton who only weighed in at 147 on the day of the fight, and a defensless brawler with no adaptability. Mayweather will school Pacquiao seven days a week and twice on Sunday. Anyone who compares Pacquiao to Pernell Whitaker clearly knows nothing about boxing.
