Anybody else think RJJ is a big waste of time for Calzaghe right now?

Because in my estimation Jones has a nice chance of beating Calzaghe, I don't see the fight as a waste of time. People are badly underestimating Roy Jones.

    Not exactly.
Now if you ask this same question about BHOP I will answer YES.
I do hope and truly think JC VS RJJ will be a much more entertaining brawl.
Obviously That means I think RJJ would beat BHOP.

What does fighting Pavlik do for Joe's legacy ? Pavlik is currently the middle weight champ ..Honestly Pavlik has 2 marquee wins and now he's the gate keeper of legacies ??WTF :patsch

Yea I feel you on that. The man needs to build the resume up a little more.

No, Jones is a big step up for Calzaghe at this point in time in his career ... yes he's accomplished alot but as far as his resume is concerned it is very suspect.

:deal exactly, people that dont wanna see this fight, just dont want Joe in there with some1 that can possibly give him an L. RJ mayb shot by RJ standards. but against other boxers he isnt, he can probably beat 85% of the other LHW out there the way he is. RJ is the best fight for calzaghe. RJ is a legend, this would put asses in the seats, would b a bigger payday than the fight with B-hop. way more entertaining. RJ is willing to fight in cardiff. I mean wats not 2 like?
Only thing calzaghe has to worry about is if RJ gets mad and gets motivated and lands lightening fast combinations on him. The he has a problem other than that I say go for it:yep

I believe Wright would be a nice test for Pavlik.

Don't be a fool, it sold because of both fighters.
