Anybody expecting a possible Upset or Shocker from Salita tomorow night?

According to boxrec he was down once against Robert Frankel 27(4) 9(2) and down twice against Ramon Montano 17(2) 7(0)

Yep, he's been put down by worse guys than Khan has.

 

Roach has talked a lot about Khan's power - I'm sure it could improve and perhaps has, but I have a sneaking suspicion that some of that talk has been because they see Salita as someone Amir could properly KO, and in spectacular fashion.

 

I fancy Khan to win by a wide points decision,or Salita's corner pulling him out late on.

 

Khan is going to spark this guy. Seriously...or at the very least have him badly hurt with a relatively inoccuous looking punch early, followed by the usual jump and flurry which will force a stoppage. Amir's chin could always prove the great leveller and I will never rule anyone out of finding it and stopping him, but if Salita's going to go, it will be very early.

I've just seen on another thread footage of Salitas fight with Campos, i'd forgotten how ordinary Salita is...however, as we all know, anything is possible in boxing.

 

Sky are building the fight up as if Salita is somebody **** me, stroll in the park, a gimmee

 

I been saying here for ages that Khan is gonna win this one, & look spectacular in the process. Dont know what Salita Stuey has been watching, but its certainly not the one I have seen in action, he offers no threat at all.

The salita i have seen is a solid if unspectacular fighter with a decent left hook who keeps his hands pretty tight in defense and has quite a nice way of creating little angles for his left. I aint aying he is in the top tier, but then i dont think Khan is either (because of his shitty punch resistance) I think that Salits can at least test the chin....

 

Khan will make salita look silly. He will stop him within 6 depending on how good his jaw is, because khan will use him as a punching bag.

I watched Salita beat a an american journeyman (unconvincingly) on the undercard of Calzaghe Jones at MSG and he was pretty poor considering his opponent had never actually beaten anybody with a winning record...

He no bigger than Khan either. I think Khan will be bigger than Salit,. in height and build.

 

Salita will be stopped within 3 rounds.

He has been down in the first round multiple times, twice against the same fighter with 2 stoppages from his 15-2 record.

Khan will stun this guy in one of these early rounds and force the stoppage Calzaghe style.
