You know what? it's not that im jumping on the JT band wagon, but B-Hop said he liked Taylor in the rematch and by KO, he said the higher weight would help JT more than Pavlik, dont ask me how or anything, im just saying Hopkins said that and i was the first to read it twice to see if it was true. But for now... my pic is still Pavlik, picked (sadly) adaisnt Miranda and agaisnt JT, i mean, it's not even about the weight, although it may influence i just think that with Pavliks reach and style he will land on JT, and land frequently may i add, and of course you add some real power behind those punches and and you may just have JT's number.

in all honesty i don't think pavliks power is that far off benn's. it's just that pavlik is much more measured in his approach and works his prey over. benn just went in with raw animalistic aggression and looked to take your head off in round one.

Taylor was never scared in the first fight and Pavlik still beat him. If anything he fought with too much heart/brawn and not enough brains.

    He fought

    Hops
    Hops
    Winky
    Oumma
    Pavlik

He didnt run from any of them in or out the ring, he's a true boxing warrior.

Right. I don't think people argue that.....they just argue that he's not an elite fighter, like he was cracked up to be and he is very flawed. I didn't like the guy but believe it or not he made a fan out of me in the Pavlik fight.

I understand, but its a stupid argument . . . Even if you scored both hops fights and the Winky fight against Taylor - they were all very close fights and arguably could have gone either way. If he hangs that well with three top p4p fighters then he is clearly "elite" - whatever that means.

I scored the first Hops fight for Taylor, The second as a draw and the Winky fight for Taylor. Hops was #1 p4p at the time, Winky was top 3 at the time . . .this clearly makes him elite in my book. No matter what the blind haters might say.

They're able to get away with this because Pavlik is so limited and showed how beatable he is in the Taylor fight. I have little doubt he will repeat his achievement, but if it had been someone else - a more skilled fighter like say Abraham - to have dethroned Taylor in the first place, nobody would dare speak of his chances in a rematch, or in the MW title picture in general.

Abraham??? The guy that got a gift win over Miranda? What did Pavlik do to Miranda???

Come on guys, this blind hatred of Taylor makes you look ignorant.

Ramshall, you've been around the block; don't give me that A beats B beats C bull****.

Head to head Abraham crushes Taylor and Pavlik; probably beats Miranda in a rematch.
