always guaranteed entertainment when you watched Norris fight....can u imagine the fireworks between him an trinidad!!!!? there was always talk bout him an JC Chavez havin a rumble outta the ring...was this true ????
Fair enough, though Wlad does get rocked or panic by some pretty weak punches. Though borderline glass sounds about right, you cant really call it glass anymore, he hasnt tasted the canvas since Peter, which was 3 years ago.
Ask redrooster. Maybe we when get a satellite link up and get his reply while he's in his Terry Norris shrine.
Class and Charisma, that's all I have to say about Terrible Terry Norris. Even after watching him hit the deck from a jab and be beaten in his way to the ring in Mexico against Simon Brown, the Jackson's punch and the tremendous struggle against Waters, this is definitely a beautiful fighter. Full Commitment in the punch, relentless aggressive style, perfect aesthetics and technical supremacy, what more could anyone ask from him?
How much Norris have you watched? Class? He was notorious for his lack thereof, considering he was a hot head who was DQ'd from 3 fights. Perfect aesthetics and technical supremacy? At times he looked great, at other times completely reckless. He was the definition of a head case. He could box beautifully at times, but when he smelled blood, instead of stalking and picking his shots, he went completely ape-**** and left himself wide open. The majority of his success came against smaller, past prime Welterweights who he'd have his way with. An overrated fighter through and through, despite his flashes of brilliance.
Hell yes. He was the younger brother of Orlin Norris (Heavyweight). Terry was smaller and beat he hell out of Sugar Ray. I also believe he sued Don King and won a hefty sum. I think Don stole his money or something. He was an excellent fighter and never got the credit he deserved. I always liked he and his brother because they were very humble and modest in victory and defeat. He also had a great work ethic. He beat several notable opponents and knocke Mugabi out in the first round. He got beat one time from Simon Brown and it was like the upset of the year or something. Good name to bring up though, I always liked Terry.
Terry Norris is one of my all time favorites. Was always in an exciting fight and had a mean streak a mile long.
He still owns one of the most brutal KO's i've ever seen. Too bad he was on the wrong side of it (against JJ)...:nut
For some reason when I think of Norris I always think of the Julian Jackson and Simon Brown KO's. He definitely had an unpredictable chin.
