Garcia will certainly be Spence's best opponent to date but he's too small.

I'll be rooting for Garcia but I can't see a way how he keeps Spence off him.

I am betting on Mikey. And I should be getting good odds.

I think Spence's size and strength will edge him over the line. When it comes to the skill level of both fighters, there's nothing in it. I wouldn't be surprised if Mikey does pull it off though, simply because Spence lacks the movement and he can be very still and frozen at times.

I feel like Mikey is going to stay close to Spence the whole fight and focus on volume rather than power. That will stop any rhythm that Spence builds up. I noticed quite a few times that Spence doesn't react well when he's under big pressure, his slow stance leaves him vulnerable to onslaughts in that situation. I saw it a few times in the Brook fight. If Mikey is fearless and just stays close to Spence, avoids the ropes and keeps the pressure on using volume then he can win on points. If he goes for the box and move thing, he'll eventually be trapped to the ropes and he'll be beaten up.

Do what Brook did in parts, don't go on the back foot. If he goes onto the backfoot, he loses.

Spence on a close points decision for me. The body shots will prove too much in the later rounds and it'll mean Mikey loses momentum after a good first half.

Well, usually when someone moves up in weight you can make the case that he is faster and is more skilled than his opponent, thus making it size vs. skill conversation. Here, we have two more or less equally skilled fighters but one has huge size advantage. I don't imagine Garcia winning this and I can't make up a thought pattern to relate with those who favor Mikey.

Mikey has the edge in skills, Spence has the weight/height advantage. I'm picking Spence but Garcia wanted this fight so bad I'm starting to think he might know something we don't.

It doesn’t take stones to avoid every challenge around your weight, then take a ridiculous fight you’re expected to lose. It’s just further evidence of Mikey’s cowardice. It’s just an excuse, better to lose to Spence than Linares or Lomachenko.

I agree that Spence is overrated, and I know why. But Garcia is even more overrated, the guy has nothing exceptional about him at all.

He wanted to avoid Lomachenko so badly. He thought that he had a better chance of outboxing Spence and his career wouldn’t take the same hit as losing to Loma. He could also answer the relentless criticism of his career in one fight. He weighed it up and the Spence fight made sense, I get it.

Mikey is getting destroyed. Career altering mismatch, he'd better get a lot of cash out of it.

    No. 80/20 Spence.

At least in the GGG/Brook fight, Brook's walk around weight is pretty high and he wasn't giving up a lot of weight, height or reach. Garcia is giving up a lot in pretty much every category. Garica has slightly better technical skills, but Spence has an advantage in every category. I don't like his chances at all.

I admire Garcia for going after this fight and will be rooting for him. He has nothing to lose here as so fee see him winning this fight. Nonetheless, I think there is a small chance he could surprise us all by taking the fight into the championship rounds but in the end I think the difference in size will be his undoing, probably resulting in him getting put to sleep.

However, IF he wins (and it's a big 'if') it will probably go down as one of the greatest underdog victories in the history of the modern era.

I think your analysis is the way to look at it.
