He had one bad call. But if you look at Pac when he fell and when he was getting up he seemed like something was wrong. I knew immediately it wasn't a knockdown. But Pac didn't just jump back up. Look at it again, maybe that kinda fooled Kenny. I think Pac's legs were bothering him because if you look at him get up, he didn't seem like his normal ball of energy self at that moment.
Bayless is one of the worst referees in the sport. He is only slightly better than Cortez. I cannot imagine why you guys are praising a man who has no clue how to stay the **** out of the way!
No WTF! One bad call means nothing... Bayless is bad ass! and it did not affect the Fight at all if anything it woke up PAC from being in a bore fest and looking all confused wondering how to get in... After he actually tried to get in.. instead of just standing in front wondering why he is not coming forward.
Bayless, imo, gets involved too much, but he's not as bad as Cortez by a long shot. I'd still rather see Weeks or Smoger for the top fights.
If by "annoyed" you actually mean elated, then yes. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=272618
Bayless is one of the best in the game. I love the fact that the guy is in shape enough to stay the hell out of the way! Maybe he breaks a bit too often but on the whole? Great ref.
Never really liked Bayless. He's quality as far as refs go in this business, but he interrupts the action way too much for my taste just like Richard Steele and Joe Cortez did when they were at the top of the officiating game. All the same kind of refs to me. Over-officiating *******s with a big ego. Best refs in the game right now are Steve Smoger and the highly underrated Raul Caiz Jr.
We should be thanking him for that bad call. Because it lit a fire under Pac's ass to put forth a little more effort instead of just following Shane around the ring. Had he done that 4 rounds sooner he may have won by a TKO. Kenny Bayless, keep up the good work and providing a little comedy with those facial expressions.
does anyone have the pciture of bayless when barrera lands the over hand left against morales in there third fight....my fave pic ever
Bayless gets involved too much my ass. You wanna see an example of a ref who gets involved too much then check out Jay Nady's handiwork over the years. Kenny Bayless is class.
