He fought in the recent Olympics in Beijing, didn't make it but the scoring system was bull****.. he's turned pro right after and won both of his fights by stoppage, obviously against lesser opposition. But he's a 6'1 junior middleweight, very fast hands and feet, good technique and in great shape. At only 20 years old, he might fight at 160/168 a few years from now.

Definitely. Very smooth style, and he turns over his punches like a much older fighter.

    Big fan.

But why did he sign with such a nondecsript promoter?

I'm just excited he's not an amateur anymore, because if his ass moved to 165 it would have really sucked.

Either way, he was a great amateur, we'll see how he does as a pro but from what I remember he beat Danny Jacobs at 52 as an amateur.

He's ok but he's no Marvin QUintero.

He's very exciting. I'll surely follow his early pro fights. It might take a few years before he'll be ready, but he has big potential, that's for sure.
