Anyone else glad Calzaghe is fighting Roy rather than Pavlik or Dawson?

Calzahge vs Jones may turn out to be an entertaining fight, but its certainly no legacy builder for Joe. Pavlik is the fight that I think most fans want to see, and in fact is probably the best talent anywhere between middleweight and lightheavyweight.

 

roy jones jr is a much tougher fight for calzaghe than pavlik is.
joe has only foght once at lhw and didnt look at his best.(i know b-hop makes everyone look bad)but he didnt look too natural at this weight.
rjj is going to be a tougher fight for him than any one gives credit for.
he would have beat pavlik fairly easily.

Considering all the talking Joe did from fall 2007 to spring 2008 a fight with Pavlik was the right fight. However, if Joe beat Kelly the aftermath would be all about Pavlik being an untested American hype job. If Kelly beat Joe, the aftermath would be all about how Joe was shot, and a prime version would have won.
