Another thing, credit to Froch for fighting clean tonight - though I'm sure he feared getting in trouble if he didn't.

They both brawled and boxed, dirty tactics were a great effective weapon for Ward against Kessler - in fact they played at least a small part in his victory truth be known.

Dont agree with this, could easily see Froch beating Kessler if they fought again so having his number, nah.

On the night he edgd the fight but it was clear to see he had nothing left, another round and Froch was taking the fight, he started well but didnt do enough middle rounds and left it a round or so too late with the comeback at the end.

  3. What defence? Standing there static with his hands up? That isn't a good defence. Man you don't know what you are talking about gimp.

Come on slip, someone would have to be a robot not to get slightly upset in anyway ever, over a fighter they like losing.

    bravo :good

although i did think kessler vs calzaghe showed us that kessler would do some damage in his career, and i do believe kessler would have ko'd taylor earlier than froch did.

credit to the sport both fighters and the best man won

Are you inbred? I'm talking about Froch's lack of defence you utter windbag. Now **** off, you've been a complete waste of bandwidth tonight with your vacant postings.

  8. So, you are saying that because Froch holds his hands low, he has no defence? Are you going to make me **** off? Or are you just going to request that I do?

I am a bit gutted because I wanted Froch to win and he didn't.

But only a bit gutted cos the fight itself was a belter and the result was fair (not 117-111 though...).

Also, I actually feel more confident today about Froch's chances against Abraham than I did before. Even though he lost. Can't explain it at the moment, but I do...

I'm gutted. I get far to emotionally involved in boxing especially when my favourite fighters are fighting. Carl did a gd job tho I think he lost the fight but those score cards were obscene

Exactly what i think. Everyone is saying frochy did his best but i dont think he did. He barely came forward which was kessler's plan. I haven t
Heard yet what McCracken was saying to him in the corner but its should have been you need to move forward!

I picked Kessler to win but Froch fought alot better than i thought he ever could.

    Great fight by two warriors.

The fight was close and i wouldnt have argued with the fight going either way.

    But, 117-111 Tillerman struck again:-(

Yeah, I'm really disappointed. I think the fact he took defeat with such dignity made it all the worse. Seeing him, without the title that meant so much to him made me sad. The good thing is, it's not over for him. He has the chance for redemption against AA, and what a fight that could be.
