JMM wasnt quite as hurt as Roy and Lampley was letting on, JMM had a answer for every flurry in the 5 and 6th round, occasionally catching Manny with vicious counters......

Realistically, did ANYONE see that punch coming ??? That was an outcome that I never expected too see. Thats the true beauty of boxing, you never know until that final bell ! Then again, maybe until they read the scores :( I too though Pca was starting to bust up Marquez and go after him aggressively. It looked for a bit like he was starting to dicatate just a bit. Then, bam !!

    Yea pretty much.

Marquez never looked hurt to me, even in the 5th and 6th. Like Merchant said, he has always been able to take pac's shots well when he sees them. It's counters like the one pac dropped marquez with in the second fight that have really hurt marquez.

Only reason i had the sound on was because I watched the fight the next day.:yep Those hbo commentators were full of **** the whole night and were in complete shock when their imaginary world came crashing down.:deal

True. He actually almost knocked Pacquiao out in the 5th, 20 seconds after he was down, Pac just didn't move into the punch quite as much and it landed on the cheekbone - it still span his world around 360. JMM never took his eye off the target.

Roy is usually spot on with his analysis, comments and insight. He's knowledgeable, and makes observations that make sense, and sees things that other announcers do a hellen keller on. I love him as an analyst. Nobody has a 100% success rate when just observing and commenting, especially when two elite guys are fighting, and one punch can change entire fights.

It looked like Pacquiao had made the proper adjustments. About a minute before the KO, I actually stopped watching, thinking Pacquiao had it in the bag.

Yeah, Lampley might say the dumbest thing but RJ laughs out of respect. RJ is all class.
