Anyone else picking Paulie to beat Porter?

Porter out works him enroute to a clean UD

 

Porter will probably win because Paulie's punches can't hurt a fly..............if Paulie had power it would be a different story..........

 

Porter isnt very good he falls in on his punches should be easily outboxed

 

Alexander is a good fighter but mentally he can be broken down, especially if he gives the other guy a chance. He didnt seem very motivated and expected to walk through Porter, no one paid much attention to this guy and he came out to win and beat Devon by a close decision

I like Porter but to me hes in the same boat as Thurman, good potential and skills but largely untested. Can he beat Malignaggi? yes he can . . . . will he? it remains to be seen . . . .

Paulie has been in with the best : Cotto, Hatton, Khan, Diaz, Judah and picked up two belts at 140/147 . . . . you cant underestimate a guy like that

I wrote this in another thread, but I feel that it's better suited for this one...

"I don't think Porter is all that impressive. Good young fighter for sure, but Paulie has seen much better in his day. I've seen Alfonso Gomez, Julio Diaz, and Devon Alexander consistently be able to win rounds against Porter, albeit in losses or draws. Porter's performances have been very workmanlike against his best opposition, nothing spectacular. I can definitely see a talented boxer, such as Malignaggi, taking 6-8 rounds from Porter and winning a close decision."

I got Porter by TKO . ( Its a bold prediction cause Paulie chin is very solid )

Nah, I'm not seeing that happening. I have grown to like Paulie personally through the commentary work, but from what I have seen of Porter he should beat him. Paulie is a hard one to KO so not sure about that but I do think Porter wins the fight.

 

I think Paulie will beat Porter (but then I also thought Alexander would beat Porter)

I got Paulie because I would feel like such a dumbass if I picked Porter and Paulie took him to school. If Porter wins then what the hell, I rooted for the underdog.

 

Paulie is a very live underdog, again, he has power he would be awesome..............

 

I haven't seen enough of Porter, but I think this will definitely be a competitive fight. SD outcome is my guess. Who wins? IDK.
