Anyone else surprised with JMM power lately?

Marquez does have power and I think whats making it so dangerous is that his power is increasing with his weight!!!

 

he certainly looked powerful..

 

JMM always had power, specially at 126lbs. Its his great accuracy and leverage that maximizes the power of his punches.

 

maybe he uses the same hand wraps like margacheato!!!!

 

Anyone who drops both Casa and Diaz back2back impresses me.

 

His technique is awesome.

 

i was impress but i never largely underrate jmm's power

 

its no suprise
jmm is a very clean crisp counter puncher and if he lands nicely then there is a always a damn good chance he hurts you
he has stunned pac a phew times, he is always dangerous

but i do think the extra phew pounds of muscle have put a notch more sting on those punches for sure

He has always been a very good puncher. Fast, accurate, and somewhat underrated power. He hits harder than Barrera and even Morales in their primes.

 

Looking at his knockout ratio, there's no surprise at all. He certainly carried his power well through the weight gain. He's a very clean puncher. Those uppercuts were deadly last night.

 

It's a mix of two things. Increased strength as he moves up in weight and being more aggressive so the judges can't rob him again.

 

Power plus gud timing = Monster punch
