Nah i think Martinez will be just too good. He has crazy variation in his punches, his speed, balance and timing is so good at times that he doesn't even have to work a big shot off of a jab.

I think it will go the same way as the Dzinziruk fight. First few rounds will be competitive but when Maravilla gets into his groove he'll dominate Darren and knock him down a few times before forcing the stoppage.

No shame in losing to Martinez and he deserves credit for stepping up to the plate. Barker has little to lose here and plenty to gain.

The guy in your avatar against Martinez. Now that would be a really good fight.

It would be a really interesting fight. I used to think Golovkin would take him but I don't think so anymore. Still think he has the best chance of beating him out of everyone at 160. If he could walk him down a la Martinez and take him out late. It's unlikely though.

Golovkin's relentless but it's all about levels. Elite talents like Martinez take guys like him out.

Whatever happened to the referees decision is entirely fair?

Don't be daft, that's not even similar to what I said. I said you need to follow the referee's instructions, even if it is wrong.

In the case of Martinez-Cintron, there was no way the judges could have disregarded the referee's complete flip-flop. They couldn't just stop scoring and write "KO" on the card.

That was a blatantly poor decision which took away credit for a legitimate stoppage. McCloskey-Prescott was a borderline decision - it was the wrong one, but you can't just ignore it.

Admittedly, it certainly isn't the same but I think it still shows inconsistancy that you see one as an injustice and not the other.
