He is suppose to be this big time puncher but he couldn't even stop Humberto Toledo and he was landing good punches for most of the fight. all of his knockouts are against weak opponents and glass jaw Khan.

There is no doubt about it. The fight tonight alone proves that his power was critically overrated, based on a knockout victory over young, inexperienced fighter that has zero punch resistance.

I was not sure 100% that Marco was going to pull out the victory in March. I am now prepared to put £300 on Barrera by Knockout.

true we cannot based somebody's punching power to career KO's alone. we should consider the opponents that he's fought also.

    Barrera by KO.

His power is only rated because he KO'd the china chin Khan. Other than that, he's done nothing

Exactly. And if people had any doubts, tonight's fight sealed it. The guy he fought tonight was blown out in a round by light-hitting Lamont Peterson.

All this does is further confirm just HOW bad Khan's chin is.

To be fair those were bodyshots by Peterson.

Soto just about killed him tho.

He fought another fighter on FNF before and didn't impress there either. Before that, all is fights were in Columbia.

Some people at Sky were describing Prescott as "world class" and a "devastating puncher" and it really gets on my tits when they do this.

Just because Prescott wiped the floor with a chinny and hyped Amir Khan, all of a sudden Prescott is this unbeatable, wrecking ball. It's ****ing crazy. Let the guy at least prove himself first because before he fought Khan, no one had even heard of this guy.

I don't know what to make of it really... I remember when Miranda first came to America and starting fighting on FNF and he didn't show too much power at times either. A lot of his opponents went the distance.... but as he progressed and started sharpening his skills, he began to land more and began to knock guys the **** out.

Maybe the same applies to this Presscot kid. He's shown flashes of power before and maybe all hie needs is more skill and accuracy and we'll begin to see how much power he really has.

For right now I'm undecided on his punching abilities.

Anyone think Khans chin is softer than melted butter?

Oc course his power is overrated. ****ing Ivan Calderon could likely knock Khan out.
