my point still remains i expected more.

    hence my thread.

his power aint what it was, this fight highlighted that. it showed the johnson fight wasnt a one off.

Ask Briggs that cause even he said Vitali hits harder then Lewis lol. And if Vitali power ain't what it use to then damn you make Peter look like a real sissy by quitting vs a soft puncher lol.

    No I dont think so.

Everyone is going around acting like a prime Vitali couldnt dispose of Briggs.

How old was lewis when he fought Briggs?

Yes.... Vitali fought an older, shittier briggs. But Vitali himself is closing in on 40 damn years old, is slow, stiff, and is not the fighter he was himself.... so it evens out.

And that fight could just as easily been stopped mid rounds and nobody would have bat an eye... in fact it SHOULD have been stopped, so its not like Briggs just went the distance, he went the distance and payed a HUGE price.

And with how Vitali fights nowdays, I dont see why so many people were picking an outright Vit stoppage anyways, I had him down for a UD and I dont see how an almost 40 year old Vitali, winning every second of every round and putting Briggs into the hospital for half a week can be seen as a negative.

I said before the fight happen that i don't feel Vitali will tko Briggs. Yea Briggs is 38 but Vitali is 39. And Briggs hasn't been stopped over 12 years. Briggs has shown he has a good chin. Vitali even in his young days was never a 1 punch ko artest. He always wears down his opponents until the refs or the corner stop the fight.

As i said, i overrated his power. my bad. as such i overrated vitali. this fight made me rethink that.

im not talking bout prime vitali. im talking bout the current champ.
