You are aware that Jose Alfaro and Cotto stopped Corley right and he was just recently Koed by Berto victim Freddie Hernandez.

I think most of you are doing a diservice to BOTH fighters.
It was a great fight, and because of what EACH of them brought to the table it was always going to be a pick em fight.
They Both come out stronger in reputation, and as a kahn fan, for me he is top of the 140´s right now.

Anytime time a "Man" looks the ref in the eyes a shakes his head saying he doesn't want to continue and then says he doesn't think he desrves to be getting beat up like this and he wasn't out on his feet or anything, thats the prime example of heartless, did you even see the fight, imagine if Maidana would have quit because of the three KD's he suffered.

Khan showed he's got guts and is willing to take a big shot if need be but he also showed that good inside fighter would maul him.

I'm a huge Maidana fan and was rooting for him all the way, but Khan showed guts and determination when he could have taken the easy way out like Ortiz did and just quit. So he gets my respect for that.

You're right i forgot about that. But in all of his 13 losses ( i think) he only has 3 that was by ko. So it still shows he got a good chin. And Cotto tko Corley was a bs stoppage.

Like i said if Ortiz didn't quit and show heart, he would be ko by Maidana in that fight. Look at Ortiz face? I mean seriously.

:deal Who trained by Roach has the best inside defense? Seems like Pac and Khan both can't defend uppercuts for ****.

glad im not the only one, ive been having wars with my coaches at the gym who are sucking khan dry, dont get me wrong, khan showed grit, heart, luck(wtf joe cortez) in the tenth, but seriously i thought he looked almost novice-like technically, maybe im being too picky but **** like basically running(bad footwork) when throwing combos, more awful footwork when retreating, throwing punches like just to throw them like not aiming them just letting his blurringly fast hands fly in uncoordinated sequence! please say im not the only one!
well done though amir on keeping a world title in britain!

Come on, kevin johnson bust up vitali, paulie bust up diaz, plenty of fighters can get bruised and cut it doesn't make their opponent a power puncher.

Of course his power got overrated people said he would knock khan out if if landed. And he didn't do. His power was overrated by many and this proves it. A world class puncher would knock out a chinny fighter if they landed. Both corley and khan have been knocked out previously. But maidana didn't have power to emulate the feat.

Im immpressed with his speed and offense. But thats about it. he is technically very flawed, lacks defense. He doesnt slip punches or move his head hardly at all. Hes not cagey or crafty in any way. He also seems to have mental lapses and even unsure of himself at times. his legs are all over the place and he is not a good ring general imo. He is all over the ring. I think his speed will cause a lot of guys problems, but I just dont see him as a greatly skilled boxer, just purely speed.
