I think he should of at least stayed with Dennis for one defence, surely he owed him that after everything Dennis put on the line to get him the title shot in the first place.

If this fight was anywhere else i would pick Malinga by UD but its in the UK so as long as Hall dosne't get dropped and dominated and sees the final bell he will win a SD.

I would have thought Hobson would be one of the top men to be with in this country.Look at the improvements Clinton Woods made under his management.Just seen the documentary on Stuart.I always thought he was from the family of boxers of the same name.Apparently not.Anyway,I think he can win this in the same way that Jamie did, with a bit of home advantage.Hope so.The kind of lad I like to do well.

I don't often say this about fighers but Jamie owed Hobson, Dennis put a hell of a lot into his career and gave him an opportunity that rest assure Eddie wouldn't have given him a world title shot in his hometown. I feel it was bad from Jamie to leave without so much as a defense a real kick in the teeth for Hobson. Hope Hall can win this tonight but if i had to go with my head i'd say Mallinga by points

Not a bad fight . Both them didnt look like world beaters but atleast he will make a big bit of money before he loses his belt next fight

Ha, i went to quote my original post but pressed edit instead. Got it right the 2nd time if you look back so i didn't edit that post, that actually was my original post. I got this one wrong as Hall won on merit and fair play to him.

Seconded, mate.I got it right, maybe for a change, but not as right as you.Best prediction of the year for me,as well as best performance by a British boxer.Watch them come out of the woodwork now,the wise after the event brigade.Especially on the other forum!!
How difficult it must have been for Hall with the eye damage?Proud of the lad, especially considering where he comes from.

Yes was a great performance of determination & heart especially with the left eye damage.

Malinga did well to come back into it after the early rounds really good end to the Boxing year here pleased for him got his chance & took it.Like a few others here I picked Hall on points just outhustled Malinga well deserved.
