Would love to see him win as Colchester is commutable from where I live so he might make a World title defence in his home town and I can go and see it, get the train and have a few beers Selfish reasons I know He's getting battered though
Hope- Yes Expecting- Absolutley not Think Purdy will just walk onto Devons straight left all night long...fight won't last the distance
If brook wins you get brook vs khan If purdy wins you get purdy vs Denton Vassell or Frankie Gavin (for a world title) just thinking about it makes me sick lmfao. Hopefully purdy wins then brook beats purdy, then brook beats khan in the domestic superfight we have all be wanting and hopefully brook starts to get superfights across the pond.
I hope he does but can't see It. It'd be great If Lee pulls this off the only way Lee has a chance Is If Devon isn't motivated for the fight and is looking past Purdy even If that's the case I still think Devon will win.
Well Purdy has a slim chance but what id be telling him is to keep trying to cut Devs ground and keep fainting and making dev guess, keeping the work rate up and the guard not giving dev any time to think
Alexander hurt? Alexander has one of the best chins in boxing wtf you been watching A Khantard would want Alexander to lose so he doesn't ktfo Khan
Don't see why you have to support someone just because they're British, especially in an individual sport like boxing.
Would love him to do it, but I just can't see it happening. Purdy is British level at best, he's not going to outbox Alexander, so his only hope is to knock him out and if Alexander can last the distance with Matthyse, Maidana and Bailey, 3 of the biggest punchers in the world right now, and come out on top, what chance does Lee Purdy have. This just shows up the governing bodies and the intercontinental titles, by winning an intercontinental strap, Purdy is ranked 4 by the IBF, despite being number 7 in Britain right now and this gets him a world title fight.
Sorry Ishy, but thats exactly why I want Purdy to win, mate. Also why I can't get up a lot of enthusiasm for teams like Chelsea and Manchester Utd in the champions league. The other side of it is,I think hell get stopped.IF he was somehow to win,it'd be great for him,Eddie Hearn and Kell Brook.
Can't see it making much difference to Kell Brook with no title on the line, best case scenario for him is probably a shot at vacant title later on.
Are you thinking vacant with Purdy in the other corner? If Lee won it'd be a bigger upset than Honeyghan/Curry for me but Id bet they'd boil him down to welter again for that one in order to give Kell a better chance than he'd have against, say,Bradley in the US.
