  5. They said on Saturday, at sometime, that its against Vassell.

    The first fight was fantastic.

If it's McIntyre then i put a bet on Purdy to win via stoppage.

It wasn't supposed to be as good as it was mate, A real barnburner of a fight Purdy wasn't expected to provide much threat seeing as he was just a southern area title holder who didn't really look great on ITV4 but that fight was the making of him. Great battle.

  9. Excatly.

I didn't even bother to watch it live as I thought it was a shocking choice for a main Sky fight

    :deal:deal
Yeah i'm not a fan of his and as Run said i thought what a **** choice of fight but Purdy's improvement and also Vassell not being as good as many hoped made for a fine contest.

Vassel turned it down an if it's mcyntire I think that's a bit stupid as tv turned him down for me he would of took it but tv an wbo turned him down as a worthy challenger so to fight for British is even bigger step isn't it an lynes would be a better challenger I am sure

Purdy has come on leaps and bounds since there first fight! Vassell doesn't look like he is improving to be honest. Purdy wins big this time around.

  15. Strange move from Vassell if true, he's not exactly brimming with options, is he?

The division needs a bit of a clear out really with plenty of fighters hanging around but the fights not being made for whatever reason.

Purdy vs McIntyre is a pretty poor fight, he's been neither active nor consistent since the blowout loss to Brook. Can see Purdy whacking him repeatedly to the body and putting him over in the early rounds.

Like the look of Purdy judging by his recent form, he'd beat Vassell IMO.

Edit - forgot that both lads are Hatton fighters, not going to fight on an Allegedly card, are they?
