It proves that he's ready to kill that muscle bound, haymaker swingin midget chump Arthur Abraham. Sorry Armo Ruski...just stating the facts.
Kessler would be the most awesome because it just to happen in so many different ways. Both have extremely high outputs and it would be a high high paced fight. Abraham would also be very interesting. Abraham is less active, but has one punch KO power and that is always exciting. WW - well, he doesn't really excel in exciting fights and he will just try to win the fight on the defense. It will surely be controversial unless Pavlik KOs him. Many will say "Pavlik's punches all hit the gloves and WW did the cleaner work" and many will say "WW did hardly anything and Pavlik should get the win for actually creating the fight". It is so obvious that yawn is what best describes that fight. Also, a "disputable" fight with WW doesn't really help Kelly. The two other barnburners are so much more exciting.
It proves that Pavlik beat an incredibly skilled fighter who is still on a lot of people's top 15 P4P list and was a top 5 P4P fighter just over a year ago.
It's also true that at 160 Ring magzine has Winky at #3, and Box Rec has him at #2. Personally I go back and forth over Winky and AA at #2 and #3.
Doesn't prove much but still a very solid win to promote his next fight with Abraham(who will be fighting his mandatory Marquez on the undercard).
