Anyone on here that thinks Haye would beat Wlad, please explain.......

:huh Eh? Haye is a pretty dreadful finisher most of the time, his hands come right down, he swings for the fences and smothers his own work.

A top-notch finisher would've got Ruiz out of there early. Haye is more like Valero, decent dig in single shots, but sloppy as **** when it coems to finishing (just to confirm I rate Haye far far higher than Valero ever was) :good

 

Haye is not a massive puncher either.

Massive punchers can end fights with one shot. Apart from Gurov lol Haye has never done this.

It's quite petty, but you have to be when judging a fighter like this, but all of the opponents he have finished have still been moving at the time of the stoppage. Genuine one-punch K.O finishers leave people cold, historically this has always been the case.

Haye is a very good puncher, but not the serious banger everyone is making him out to be.

If anyone brings up his K.O% they will get a harsh response from me, so **** off with that ****.

 

He's not julian jackson, and i dont think he can beat wlad, but IF he can land the sort of shot that put ruiz down, Wlad will be in serious trouble.

I think he has enough power to do the job, i just dont think he can deliver it

 

Agreed with the part I've bolded.

My point is he's not a very good finisher, and Wlad is very good at grabbing hold and buying himself time.

Something he wasn't great at when he fought Sanders.

Haye just isn't that good, I'll leave it at that (in case anyone else wants to engage me on it)

 

oh, i agree 100%, thats why i started the thread, he has looked avearge at times, and he doesnt even have that many fights.

if he was 38-1 (34ko's) and had knocked off a povetkin, chambers and helenius say, i'd give him a chance, but in truth theres nothing really that impressive on his resume

 

Yeah I get what you mean, a sort of over-eagerness for a highlight reel finish...
I just want the fight signed, really wanna see a fight in Germany and will deffo go if this gets done
