Ryan is a very live underdog in this one. He has all the skills to pound Davis into the canvas. But, anything can happen and it will be interesting to see how Ryan approaches it.
Garcia can do it no doubt, He needs to bank them early rounds from distance then force Tank to close the distance and start to jump in.. then catch his 5'5 as# coming in with that beautiful left hook and then finish him...
I think more like the Great White Hype, when he lands his big punch and Tank says you trying to embarrass me? Lol
I just put £15 on Garcia to win in rounds 7-12, £165 return. There's a slim chance it happens but I don't bet often and it's not much to lose.
I think he has a much better chance staying active, getting Tank's respect early, letting Tank give away rounds while he's "downloading," then playing it safe in the home stretch. Stay in control of distance and don't leave the big opening. There is every opportunity for Garcia to win because he has that range and Tank really isn't fast. It should look like 2019 Tyson Fury vs Andy Ruiz, I think RG is going to try something like what you said though and maybe it does work but more likely (IMO) it gets him KO'd.
I have $500 @ $5.00 on Garcia to win by KO/TKO. I think it's a good value bet as the fight winner is a toss up and both have high KO percentages. I just hope he doesn't play safe and box on the outside to try and win on points.
I think Ryan brings many intangibles that bring him a great chance to win. I think he is going to test Gervonta very intensely for as long as it lasts. I feel it could be an ugly fight with lot of emotions involved. I think Tank comes thru with a tough decision victory but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Ryan won the fight.
Gacia has a chance early with his power but I feel like rehydration clause will do him in. He looked like a skeleton yesterday and being able to only put on 10lbs doesn't look like it's gonna be enough to get him to his physical optimum
