Garcia is a plodder that doesn't pressure and most importantly he's a counter puncher. Thats three things that khan loves, so I don't expect anything but a UD or KO for khan.

Khan needs to box smart (boring to some) and take it via points.
If Khan loses this then im pretty much done with him.

There is no way Khan can loose this fight, hes just an entirely different animal to Garcia.

See Khan winning fairly easily, took him at evens to win before the final bell(any method)

No Malignaggi is a very good boxer, Garcia isnt hes also no where near as experienced, hes gonna be overwhelmed and stopped in 9 rounds absolute max.

based on the fact there's no evidance to suggest otherwise. in fact all indicators point to the fact tabares training will make khan more like haye. so maybe greater emphasis on punching power, less on stamina?

also like i said, previously when khan has changed coach or change conditioner, he hasn't seemed to perform as well despite all the talk before hand. before mccloskey fight he said same thing about his new strength and conditioner... but afterwards him and roach realised they needed ariza. add to that the fact training hasnt been ideal moving to philipines, having a long training camp etc.

if khan comes out and looks strong and powerful and doesnt gas and is able to take shots reasonably well, then we can say tabares has done theright things....until then i would say it safe to say khan may struggle - based on past experiances when he has changed his stregth and conditioning coach.

You never know. One huge bomb on the chin, and Garcia may well seal the deal. Never count anybody out in Boxing. One clean, perfect punch, and its 'lights out'. A punchers chance is enough to win any contest.

I think Khan stops him before the halfway mark.

There's no evidence to suggest either way.

Tabares can't just rebuild Khan like Haye. Human bodies don't work that way.

Do you reallly think there's a single strength and conditioning coach in boxing who thinks '**** stamina, we'll just add some strength and bomb them out early'?

There's a reason it's called strength *and* conditioning. They're two separate things. It's possible to be strong and fit, just because Haye had bad stamina doesn't mean everyone who is strong does.

If Tabares has made Khan stronger then good for him because there is not 1 single disadvantage to being stronger.
