    I remember him, not so much for boxing but when I was a young lad I used to do karate (wasn't allowed to box) and he would train with us on occasion and when I went away to tournaments he would come with us and coach. Top guy from what I remember, but I was only about 15 so my memories a wee bit hazy.

    Used to train wit us, great man. Really humble and helpful to us young kids. Good fighter.

    I remember him good, solid fighter but seemed lack a certain something, outside the ring as much as inside, to get him up there with the big earners in the UK around that weight at the time.
