wooooo wooooo wooooo!!!!. I am also a former boxer and current trainer and I watched that fight about ten times and Taylor did not get CAUGHT. He got physically dominated after having Pavlik completely out...getting caught would be michael moorer vs foreman...it wasn't like taylor was breaking pavlik down then bam...it was pavlik systematically breaking taylor down til he set him up for the kill shot in which he delivered in the form of a brutal KO...btw when have u ever seen taylor box his way to a TKO? against anyone with a pulse

 

hatton loses to paulie and witter,,,he should stick to gavin rees for now, hatton has a bad style for fast fighters with skill...look who he beat aside from an old uninspired tsyu...all brawlers and fringe contenders, stepped up once and ended up hurt vs collazo and barely won questionably, then stepped up again and ended up on his face then his ass, there is NO way he beats paulie or witter:nono

I think it will yake one hell of an effort to tko pavlik...i like taylor ALOT one of my favorites but I just don't see him over 12 catching pavlik behind the ear like that again. Taylor is a warrior, more so than he gets credit for but he got worn down by pavlik that whole fight. Pavlik is a BEAST....I am torn because i like both of them, they are both good guys and hard workers but I just see pavlik as too strong, that guy can hit like a mutha ****a...I could maybe see a slight dec win for jermain but no tko

I bet on taylor in both hopkins fights and the winky fight...what fight has taylor ever looked great in? his best fight was prob pavlik...he looked scared the first bhop fight...he looked a bit better the second but kind of fought to survive. He sat on the ropes vs wink for some reason for half the fight and he looked like **** against 2 jr mw's in a row....he has never looked great but I like him cuz he is a real fighter

 

In a more realistic probability Taylor can win this by decission . . . but by K.O.? Maybe not . . . but I'll be very happy if he can K.O. Pavlik.:yep

bottom line is I am betting on pavlik like I did the first fight but I will be happy for taylor if he wins like I was the first fight when he had him hurt cuz I am sick of everyone shittin on him when he beat arguably the best of this generation twice in a row

Yeah, I like them both a lot too. I was so torn up about the first fight, I didn't even go to work on the preceding Friday. I always liked Taylor a ton, but Pavlik caught my eye a couple years ago, I live near him. I watched all and everything of his rise I could and once he got his shot I had to root for him over JT, although (and especially after his post fight interview) I felt really bad for JT once it was done.

This fight has gotten here fast, the first one seemed like forever, and this one's just days away. Pavlik by nasty KO 7 again, but hope for the best for both's success in the future.

 

Since you know your **** so well, why don't you spell JERMAIN correct? atsch Taylor has a chance but I think Pavlik in 6!!

 

It was July 27th, 2006 and I was excited. The Versus television network was set to debut a brand new boxing show, Fight Night, and one of my favorite fighters was scheduled to appear in the 12 round main event. I was really looking forward to watching Bronco “Superman” McKart box his way to victory, and capture the NABF middleweight title. I thought that victory just might be enough to secure the aging warrior a couple more good pay days before retirement.

In the pre-fight build-up the 6’1” veteran looked good. He seemed to carry the 160 pounds quite well, and looked much younger than his 36 years. In the interview McKart said, “This kid’s never been past 9 rounds. I’m just gonna take him out in deep water and drown him.” That made sense to me. A cagey southpaw with a record of 48-6-0 (31) ought to be able to pull that off against some obscure kid from the Midwest. I didn’t pay much attention to what the skinny Midwestern kid said. He mumbled something about having a lot of power, and throwing a lot of punches. I remember thinking; “Ya right, Bronco is gonna eat this kid.”

What “Superman” didn’t know, and neither did I, is that Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik has kryptonite in his gloves! McKart suffered the same fate as 29 of 32 opponents suffered: he got Pavlikated!

I wasn't so much impressed by the fact that Pavlik beat McKart as I was impressed by the way he did it. Pavlik's corner told Kelly that Bronco was holding his left to high, and his elbow out away from his body; "throw a lead right up under his elbow." Pavlik went out and did exactly as he was told, and that lead directly to the demise of a fighter who had never been KOed in 54 professional prize fights.

That's the night I became a Pavlik fan. It was also the night I first predicted Pavlik would KO JT in 8 rounds; he got him in 7. The rematch will be a slightly shorter, slightly less excting, repeat of the first fight. I got Pavlik in 5!
