Wlad is a professional, and he is probably aware that he is undoubtedly better than anyone except for Vitali at this point.

When you turn your back to your oppenent, you deserve the consequences. Wlad turned his back to Peter on several occasions to avoid getting hit, which is also an ilegal procedure Wlad was never warned for or had a point taken away because of it. Just ask Hearns what happend to him when he decided to turn his back to Hagler and tried running away. He was hit on the back of the head and floored for doing it, as was Frazier when he turned his back to Foreman.

So in the end both men used illegal tactics to gain advantage or survive in Wlad's case. Wether it was Wlad's excessive holding and turning his back or it was Peter rabbit punching, both men fouled and got away with it.

Vlad and his people are trying to get Chagaev for June 20th, not someone like Minto. Chagaev is the most dangerous available opponent by far, superior even to Haye.

No, Wladimir will be fine, if wladimir gets to fight Chagaev it'll be an even better fight than the Haye fight, because Chagaev is WBA champ and the winner gets the Ring Magazine title.
