Most people before the McCline fight had him at #2, and while you and I may have vehemently disagreed with them, that's how they had it. Peter beat McCline, so it only stands to reason that people will still have him at #2. You or I could have Cotto ranked higher than Mayweather, but it wouldn't really matter would it?
But after they saw Chagaev beat Ruiz, then Valuev, adn retain an unbeaten record, you would assume that any reasonable and prudent person would then rethink their reasoning on having Peter above Chagaev. Chagaev is on another level than Peter is, and he's beaten better opposition. And more of them, too. Valuev, Virchis, and Ruiz. That certianly destroys Peter's win column, hands down.
