I imagine Del Boy's face looks a bit like in my avatar right now.

chisora will have ended up wasting best part of one of his prime years fooking about, and no fault of his....and this could knock his hunger for the game, having to get up for a british title defence when he spent all this time looking at his world title shot.
he's been made a proper tool of...i hope this doesnt depress him...i'd love to see him work his way up to another shot at a world title.

****in wrong to pull out on del .make haye wait and call his bluff on the retirement issues.i'm ****in sick of the whole fiasco!the heavyweight scene is still dead thats why we r still gettin sucked into this drama because its the only credible fight at top level.in another talent rich division we wouldnt be so desperate to see it.at least del v waldo has the underdog factor that only hw boxing can provide.this october retirement bollox just serves to undermine the sport further.

Countdown to Warren saying they took the easier option of fighting Haye in his column

its not pointless for del boy who believes he can win and has no doubt trained hard.the issue is the rush concerning the 'retirement' which is just ****in the whole thing up.

Haye would demolish Chisora so this is a mute point. I feel sorry for Del and hope he gets finacially compensated or another title shot further down the line. Haye vs Wlad makes more sense though in every way.

On one of the many Haye/Klit threads last week I said I thought this would happen, Klit isn't going to jeopordise the Haye fight by fighting Chisora. With all respect to Chisora the result was a formailty but Klit could have picked up an injury along the way

Can't say Chisora is my favourite fighter by any means but I do feel a bit gutted for the lad, the fight falling through once was bad enough but TWICE is a feckin heartbreaker

Within days the ever tiresome Fury will be making noise, but as someone else said how can you motivate yourself for Tyson Fury when you've TWICE been contracted to contest the World title?

Will he be compensated for this? No fault of his the fight is off so why should he be out of pocket? He's due a few quid and a spot on the Haye v Klit undercard surely!

I know, I know. But Chisora will still be there in 2012. Haye and a potential £10 million may not be. What would you do?

Chisora is/was going to get a hiding anyway. Best thing for him at the moment if it gets cancelled. Get him in with Sam Peter or somebody and see how he fairs.

I feel sorry for Chisora but if I'm honest I don't want anything to get in the way of Wlad-Haye.

Del Boy gets a big cheque and a vague promise of something down the line........we get the biggest HW fight for donkeys years. I'm ok with it.

well...wlad isnt obliged to give him anything.
but...if he did get a golden handshake...and a promise of the winner...he could end up fighting for 3 belts not 1 and be richer for the wait...but thats maybe dreaming a bit...
