Arce exposed Darchinyan's defensive liabilities.

Do you really think that in a rematch Vic would still be so complacent? I think he can still be slicker and more patient, and against Nonito he would not get as careless as he was. Against Arce I don't think he was as his best, Vic was forced off his game plan a little, all credit to Arce, but Vic is also capable of much more, provided he keeps a level head.

If Vic gets caught by at 118 he'd probably be kod...at 118 you have fighters like Montiel, Penalosa, and Mabuza who can punch! IF HE DID GET THROUGH 118 AND UP TO 122 THAN CELESTINO, VASQUEZ, AND MARQUEZ WIL ALL KNOCK HIS A$$ OUT!!

didn't nonito expose vic's defensive liabilities already? and its not like nonito was losing in the fight and he just got lucky with a punch, he was setting it up and doing a good job boxing vic even before the ko

when i first watched vic i was amused at his reckless punching and lack of skill and defence, but now i am impressed with the improvement he has made
he has clearly shown an improvement in boxing skills and speed and if it continues there a chance he could beat anyone i think

Man. Arce didn't expose his defensive abilities, if anyone knows Darchinyan his defense always sucked. He will be exposed again, I think his power has carried him through his carreer.

Hey dude, this is serious, i've seen the donaire-darchinyan fight a couple of times. nonito won every round of that fight. the left hook counter punch was not a one time deal, he landed several of these on vic that stunned the raging bull and almost fell him on the earlier rounds

funny how people on forums say all u have to do against vic is this or that and u will beat his ass.

all his opponents study vics fights and have world rated trainers etc. with years of experience and know more than us put together but they still get whipped.

every fighter can be ko'd no matter how good their defence is. when u have literally hundereds of punches thrown all fighters are only 1 punch from being ko'd.

vic has copped plenty of great shots but in all his fights there was only 1 capable of ko'ing him. it hit him in the worst spot possible and was a beauty, so it was no surprise he didn't get back up.

Yes Vic's fists may have been hurt from Arce's face.

Don't mention Nonito Donaire near Shaw he gets very defensive and start mention the top dogs in the 122lbs Vasquez's left hook is the perfect punch for Vic. Marques and Vasquez are serious punchers so the migration will be painful.

Look, Donaire showed that if you are incredibly patient and great on your feet, basically an exceptional boxer you can time Darchinyan and beat him.

That's not necessarily exposing Darchinyan because the majority of his opponents "run" from him and all except for one have been able to beat him, which is more of a testament to Donaire's skill rather than Darchinyan's defensive liabilities.

The fact that Arce was able to get inside and do damage and Darchinyan didn't put up his hands to block is another story.

    That's what I'm refering to.

One would think that because he's a southpaw, he shouldn't be open for a left hook, but he is, and save for his fight with Nonito Donaire, he gets away with it. I think losing to Donaire is the best thing that ever happened to him. He became a slightly different fighter, a great one I think despite all of his defensive liabilities.

Arce didn't expose or prove anything about Vic that we already did not know.

Agreed. Arce's gameplan (if you wanna call it that) looked shitty. I was sure he was gonna be out sooner than he was after some of those shots he took. No jab, wide punches and circling into his power hand... but i give him credit for staying in so long.
