Who's they? It's not some collective here.. just because people agree on a certain issue doesn't mean its some clique.. no one is acting like it's impossible for Moore to lose.. what are you talking about? On balance Moore is more proven, beat the better fighters & had a far greater career.. is that wrong? No. Natural pick would be Moore.. Ward KOing him is unlikely on balance, he isn't out hustling him & he can't bully him .. & Moore has a style Ward hasn't faced either.

Moore rose to the top & thrived in a sport that had a much harsher framework than today's game... No PEDS, no 10oz gloves, much higher fight frequency, less weight divisions, same day weigh ins, better US opposition, less pay etc ...

Take Wards home comforts, golden child privileges & stage managed career away from him & put him under those circumstances. Let's see how long he lasts...

The sport today is soft by comparison.

Man, shut the hell up. You sound like a ****ing dork, no offense. But all that golden child, softer sport, harder era ****, is completely irrelevant to me and to this conversation on every level imaginable, give me actual reasons why moore beats these guys instead of bull**** ass platitudes.

Ward literally beat 3 of the top 5 in his division! Bivol beat Canelo and Artur two stables of the pfp list!

How is it relevant that Moore made less money?!

P4P where ? Beterbiev has had 22 fights and fighting Bivol at 39 and 40 years old. Canelo is not an all time great light heavyweight. Ward and Bivol are terrific fighters for sure but I think the contrast you asked about is not the same as say exists today between gigantic, well conditioned super heavyweights and the small cruiserweight of ninety or 100 plus years ago at heavyweight .. I personally dont think Bivol has the power to hold a Moore off him .. in his last fight a faster starting Beterbiev was having his way w Bivol but faded and could not maintain ... Ward was a very skilled, tricky guy but it's a huge jump from Carl Froch or Kessler to Archie Moore.
