i dont think ortiz has anywhere near fantastic boxing skills, and fury looked as good as ive ever seen him, so they are close to same level, just different skill set, when the name of the game is get the w.
i dont know where this whole narrative that 2 tune up fights and a year of training is not enough to get back to fighting shape got started, but too many people were too happy to push it...the guy wasnt in a frickin car wreck ffs.
i never believed fury was committed to actually doing what could be done to get in shape, but he proved me wrong. i always thought he didnt have the heart to match the mouth, he proved me wrong. aside from a lazarus like recovery, the fight went how i, and many others, expected it to go, so lets not make this something other than what its always been.

In heavyweight boxing if you have the size, power and chin, all things that you either have or you don't, you have a chance against anyone.

When you have that much power, speed and height along with a decent chin you will be a handful for even the most skilled boxers. Eventually the right hand will land and when it does you're in big trouble.

Not unbeatable, but he would definitely be an even better fighter overall had he built better fundamentals.

    No

Wilder is an anomaly in a weird time of HW boxing where there's not many good boxers.

Every man and their dog know Wilder has the power to drop any HW. It's rare that there will be another boxer like Wilder who can accomplish as much as Wilder has

If Fury had power then Wilder would have been out of there fairly early on.
Fury repeatedly caught him with the one two.
If that had been Joshua throwing those Wilder would have been sparked.

Deontay's skills are second to none. That's why old grandpa Ortiz, and the gypsy king were dropped on the asses twice!

Wilder does do the things the guy in the video mentions, he pivots well and he transfers his weight with his punches. If you watch his training videos on the mitts, he often creates angles with his quickness and feet that the person holding the mitts can't react to. In addition he has the best stamina of any power puncher I've ever seen along with speed and length and that makes him the most dangerous heavyweight I've seen.

His fights are exciting regardless of what is happening in the ring because he can throw a punch at any time that can end the fight. If Wilder had been born into a Gypsy/Traveller family of boxers and had boxed since he was a child, he might have been even better, but his speed, length, and power make him a tough fight for anybody.

Well Bruce Lee said the following: "I fear not the man who has practiced 10000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10000 times."
