With another Maloney show close by, does he deserve Sky coverage with much lower standard shows then other Sky Boxing promoters .

I wouldn't say he's much worse than any of the others. Edwards vs Edwards is a **** fight but Price vs McDermott was interesting and Dallas is a decent late replacement.

If you look at his cards over the past few months they have been picking up so he probably does deserve one.

Lol at the way they were hyping up Paul Edwards's win over Shinny Bayaar on ringside. Paul even said he was "winning the fight" :patsch

Why did Bayaar not get a rematch? That cut he got in the fight against Edwards was in December, it is well healed. It should be Edwards v Bayaar.

Did you hear Maloney saying it was the best he'd ever seen someone deal with a southpaw

He was losing the round clearly until he cut Bayaar, the way he celebrated was disgraceful, he should have handed the title straight back to Bayaar and agreed to an immediate rematch. I think Chris Edwards will beat him anyway.

I'm sure it will be at least watchable but neither fighter is very good.

From the horses mouth on Boxrec in a similar thread:

"Please do not worry we will be there or around about there, Over the summer months we will sit and look at our stable and pick out the ones who we think are good enough to take forward. Because of the dates that our avilb. to us promoters you can't afford to carry to many fighter these days. I do not intent to move over for anyone or make room for any new boys on the block.
I believe our record of putting on shows are as good as anyone else's. And we at FTM just like FW build fighters from the bottom to the top unlike a few out there today.I would be very interested in out of or 10 shows this year which i think the last one on 11 june is a very good one you lot on here think was bad.
And i am not going to come back on here and compare then with any other promoters shows as we are all in the same boat right now fighting to keep boxing alive and on TV."

It would be good if they gave a tv date every once in a while to one of the smaller promotional companies such as VIP, Hard Knocks or Goodwin Promotions. Im not sure whether prizefighter should be included when the contracts come around, especially if they are going to be so often.

Yea mick hennessy, should have got it ages ago. If he knew his shows were shite, then there is a problem with quality, Dallas is not good enough, his last fight was terrible, price will stop him quickly.

Some of his shows in the past year have been tragic. However i think he is trying to pick it up a touch because he knows he may well have been on thin ice with sky.

Fighting to keep boxing alive, more like killing it with bad shows on tv.
