Rematches are responsible for a large part of the great history this sport has. Louis v Schmelling, Ali v Frasier right on to Morales v Barrera etc etc. They are a must for the sport but only for the right reasons. An unfair result last time out, closely matched competitors, bad blood or just genuine rivalry they must exist. If DeGale beats Groves on a split decision who wouldn't want a rematch for a few million more? Diaz gave his all in the first fight and there was an argument for a rematch and for no rematch. Last night JMM proved once again he belongs on the very highest platform of the sport. And I hope they pay him a truckload and stick him in there with Khan coz he'll spank him and say "who's your Daddy."
Giardello is ****ing awesome at negating pressure but he relies on his jab alot. Hagler had a real good way of negating a jab and establishing his own. Its close as hell though. I could just imagine some of the counters being thrown by eahc man.

Konadu just seems to realise early that he'll get hit even harder if he throws back so opts out until he gets pulled out, which shouldve happened MUCH sooner IMO. No, aslong as its evenly matched IMO. Think Lupe Madera vs Katso Tokashiki, there first fight was near the ends of their primes and their 4th fight was at the ends of their career and was as good as the first.
