slightly beside the point, but why has ricky fallen out with his parents in the first place? ricky hatton was sold as being "one of the lads", and we were told over and over how he was just like any normal lad who'd nip round to his parents over the road for a cup of tea and a chat. now, suddenly, ricky's fallen out with ray and he does'nt want to talk about that anymore. he was willing to talk all you want when he was shown on sky sports documentarys sitting in his parents, now its a no, no.
Apparently it's to do with money and some other things. Ray used to run the Hatton sports brand but he "retired" and Ricky took over which lead to a dispute. I've also heard Ricky say that back when he was struggling with depression and the drink and drugs that he had his visitation rights to his son taken away because he was such a mess and he that felt like his mum and dad should have took his side which he feels they didn't. Alas though, I don't know any of this for sure cause I don't know the Hattons, just going on what I've heard and read and putting it together. I hope they make up one day.
thanks paulieMc, its always sad whenever someone falls out with parents, brothers, sisters etc, even sadder when its to do with money. come to think of it, the only people i know who've not spoken to parents for years, have all been down to the same thing, money. shame.
