Are there still bare knuckle boxing matches?

    I'm not talking about just plain old street fights either. I was just on youtube watching Tyson Fury and came across some vids of gypsy fights. Seemed like they had rules and everything set up.

    Is this **** still pretty common?

    didnt look like it. He just kept getting inside and getting tagged. Reminded of me of Tyson vs Lennox. Tyson kept getting inside but would just stand there and get drilled.

    That was pretty brutal. That stripped shirt guy took a lot of hard, flush shots. Both guys obviously know how to box. You can tell by watching them.

    I've been in a couple amateur, unsanctioned, impromptu bareknuckle boxing matches at the bar.

    agreed. Pretty good technique and they move pretty well.

    the guy in that video wearing the striped shirt is called barney mcginley a famous bare knuckle gypsy fighter who trains in my club, he is a tough man

    supposedly he went to england and beat all the travellers in england only to come back to ireland and lose to ward this **** goes on all the time over here sometimes its for pride sometimes its for 100 grand

    it can result in huge riots between the 2 different families, beatings stabbings and murder, most irish travellers participate in these fights to resolve disputes which is the way it should be done not going around shooting people if you have a dispute
