Bhop's reign at MW is really garbage. He fought a **** weak level of opposition and he fought about once a year. Jones could have reigned forever if he stayed at MW, not to mention he would have won in a more spectacular fashion.

What is even more pathetic about Hopkins' career is that he fought at 160 from 1990 to 2000, became champ at 1994 and yet he never fought any of the good fighters that graced that division:

Hopkins only had 1 meaningful win there and that was against an undefeated Glen Johnson. Against Jones, he lost clearly. Against Taylor, he lost 2X and even if some would argue that he won the 1st fight, it is not great feat considering how Taylor turned out to be. Tito is really a B level MW fighter.

The thing that made Hopkins great is his post-MW career. But his MW stint was really pathetic.

Thats a laundry List of opponants and many who were heavy punchers as well. Bernard stopped 13 of his 20 opponants in title defenses. Lot of those guys may have went on to be stars but were stopped short and drowned out by Bernard its easy to say someones **** after Bernard ruins them.

 

Even Jermaine taylor went to **** after his fights with Bernard then now Kelly Pavlik well known fact he ruins fighters.
