Yes. Hes not perfect, but hes improved greatly and proved many critics wrong. Hes living up to his potential UK should be loving this guy. USA
The thing about Amir Khan is he talks like a *****. Now I can't give you any quotes or nothing like that, but you know what you do when a girl gets all cranky and ****. You tune out. The one thing that pissed me off the most about this guy was when he told off Bradley and Alexander. He said you guys should fight before you got a shot at ME. What a twat, gets knocked down by strong gusts of wind. No. Atlanta, USA
No! I see nothing really special about this guy,lot of pity pat, and mediocre skill. Nothing really impressive!! The YaY Area,Ca. Usa
Maybe so but it was still a fight that was supposed to make him look good - Maidana's hands are so slow he looks like he's fighting underwater, yet he still got through. I'm still reserving judgement at the mo, fighting people like Zab Judah whose best years were a while back, then possibly fighting people like Erik Morales whose best years were even further back if he manages to get through Judah are not exactly legacy building fights in my eyes. I do think if he wasn't force fed to the public and hyped up like he was as the best thing since sliced bread then maybe I'd take to him more. Although it has to be said Freddie Roach has worked wonders with him, if he didn't hook up with him he would most likely have been beaten up loads of times by now.
he is an intriguing fighter. what he lacks in defense, he makes up with offense. i appreciate his work ethic and heart in the ring. he never says die. the only thing he lacks is power as he has moved up.
he lacked power before the move up in weight, he has plenty of tko's, but part of this, I attribute to how prematurely fights get stopped in the UK. Hes still never put anyone down for a 10 count...despite fighting many older and lighter opponents throughout his career. On top of that I think he's a complete wanker, always talking about himself in the 3rd person, and a dim **** to top it off. Not got bad handspeed, but not really very good boxing skills apart from speed, and hes very stupid in the ring at times...will be punished when he moves up in classs, and hes a total a moron out of the ring. I am a fan.. I am not sure his chin will hold up as he goes longer into his career since it has shown some weakness, but I like his style . United States.
Yes-Sydney, Australia. He impressed with some explosive performance combining blinding speed and power.
I think the americans will end up loving amir khan because his weakness and strengths will make it inevitable that he will be involved in exciting fights.
