Ennis looked bored last nite. I don’t know why we need these sweeping reactions to every fight. He already 120-108d the guy. The only thing that could top it was a KO so he just kept getting into exchanges to get it. Against a guy with absolutely nothing to lose. But bc he got touched people wanna get carried away. It’s a really annoying thing about combat sports fans. You can’t analyze everything in a vacuum. He needs a fight that gets him excited. It’s time.

Always said he was overrated. A knockout just waiting to happen.

He's in my top 5 favorite active fighters but more so for his personality and flashy style. Still needs to work on that defense. Looked good though against Stan tonight.

It was a solid showing but we haven't learnt anything new about Ennis TBH.

He was alot bigger than Stanionis who doesn't have power and has a basic come forward style for Ennis to look good against. I also think Ennis still shipped too many flush punches which could be his downfall when he goes up another level.

The only way we will know how good Ennis truly is. Is when he moves up to 154 and fights guys his own size who have concussive power.

Not at all. No growth as a boxer, showboating when he isn't dominating. He is Broner at 135 at this stage. He'll meet his Maidana soon if he doesn't humble himself and get better before moving to 154.

    Yes and no.

Yes in that hes obviously a very good fighter.

No in that hes not special the way hes been hyped.

Im impressed in reality, the way I would find any champion level boxer impressive.

But Im not impressed relative to the elites and special ones within the sport.

Good win. But he was getting hit clean pretty much every round.

An elite counter puncher is just waiting for the chance to turn out the lights on Ennis. He needs to stop ****ing around.

I used to think he was the second coming of Roy Jones. He ain't that but he is pretty good. Something about him does not impress me though, sort of flash but lacks substance, even though he has some great tools and skills. The speed and power is pretty good but not amazing, and he is a huge weight bully, so not sure what the future holds.

My opinion really hasn't changed. Looks like a good fighter, flashy and entertaining enough, but I don't see him as a great fighter, he relies a lot on his physical attributes but really isn't that skilled technically. 147 isn't exactly stacked right now, so I don't see him losing any time soon, unless he moves up.

I'm impressed with his ring outfits. The color combinations are just incredible. It's a great look. I might start wearing some myself as I go about my daily activities.

Can't really go by his last fight. Stans was out for almost a year and had been very inactive. But I think Boots is the goods. Goes to the body with lethal intent but he gets hit a bit too much. I want him and Tszyu to fight.
