basically what you're implying ( perhaps unintentionally ) is that Senya's opinions are even more biased than American fight fans who have no particular partialness towards either Wlad or Sultan. Frankly, I can think of no other explanation for thinking that Sultan Ibragimov beat Wladimir Klitschko. It doesn't take a smoke screen from the media to see who truly won that fight. I could have watched the fight with the volume turned down, listening to no commentary, and still would have given that fight to Wlad by a landslide, and I'm no fan of either guy.

I don't like or dislike either fighter, I consider Ibragimov a very average fighter, and I think W. Klitschko is the best heavy right now, I don't care at all about fighter's nationality.

How about the fact that Wlad didn't spend the whole fight crouching in a near fetal position with a terrified look on his face, but rather had Sultan running all night long.

Ibragimov lost that fight. Nothing more to ad.

You now say that Wlad is the best heavyweight in the world, while rating Ibragimov as average, yet a minute ago you felt Ibragimov was robbed.

But then Ibragimov actually was trying to win the fight and land punches, he wasn't throwing his right only maybe 2 or 3 times during the first several rounds, at a rate of 1 right hand per 5 minutes.

First and most significant scoring criteria in boxing is clean punching. Klitschko was inferior to Ibragimov in this regard in most rounds.

I said Ibragimov won 2-3 rounds. Wlad won a UD easily. Going on memory, I'd give Wlad the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12. Keep in mind Wlad was likely robbed of a knockdown in the 9th ( I think ) and landed some hard stuff in the 10th or 11 round, which in my opinion was not an even round, though if you want to give Ibragimov a round, the one where Wlad did not close strong between the 10 or 11th is Ibragimov's best case.

So 9 rounds to 3 for Wlad, and color Ibragimov lucky Wlad was not credited with a knockdown, otherwise its a 10-8 round for Wlad.

    The judges scores were:

judge: Don Ackerman 119-110 for Wlad
judge: Chuck Giampa 117-111 for Wlad
judge: Steve Weisfeld 118-110 for Wlad

    1) Do you count clean body punches when evaluating the advantage one and other figher had in the round?
    2) Do you keep a mental count of punches one and the other fighter landed and their significance?

If your answer is yes to both questions, I don't see how you could give Klitschko 9 rounds.

When scoring a fight I count:

The impact of the blows landed

The amount of punches thrown / activity levels of the fighters

    Defense

And who is " making " the fight, fighting their fight, and imposing their will.

All of the above were in Wlad's favor for the majority of the rounds.

Ibragimov was out thrown, out landed, had less BIG punches landed, and was scared of " making " the fight, playing defense for most of the fight while Wlad scored with jabs.

And some of those body shots by Ibragimov were blocked. There is no way Ibragimov won this fight. You could not even Rob Wlad into a draw because Irbagimov did win more than 4 rounds, and would need to win 6 to produce a draw.

You are the only one I saw claim Ibragimov won this match. You could argue Wlad won 8 of 12 rounds if you want to stretch things to the max, but thatÂ’s about it.

Where did you see "impact of the blows landed" in at least half the rounds of the fight?
Wlad showed little fighting activity per se. You can paw with your front hand as much as you wan't that's not an activity that counts in your favour. Aggressiveness has to be effective, Klitschko's wasn't.
What defense did Klitschko have against hooks to the body Ibragimov landed clean and often?
Pawing with a front hand is not "making" the fight and not imposing one's will.

I have no idea where did people see Wlad scoring with jabs with any frequency (unless you believe to blind mice from compubox).

Some of his body blows Klitschko jumped back from, like a scared rabbit, I can give you that, but still Ibragimov consistently landed to the body, whereas Klitschko didn't land anything of significance to offset what little offense Ibragimov put up round after round. The rounds I scored for Ibragimov are exactly that way, you can see them in slow motion if you don't have the skill to register the offense of both fighters in real time.

The fight was very close, a point or two for either fighter would be fine with me, but there was no way in hell a wide points decision for Klitschko, he was too reluctant to throw anything significant and he wasn't effective enough with his jab to score points.
I heard people who first scored it clear victory for Klitschko change their mind once they re-watched the fight and saw it was much closer than they originally thought.

If you want to score this fight round by round, post the fight video here, and I'll do it. There is no way Iggy won this fight, and no, Iggy did not land many hard shots. Wlad landed the harder shots; landed more often, threw more often, and controlled the fight.

While the first six rounds were boring, Wlad won 4 of them. Let's not confuse easily winning a round and boring, as in this fight they are two very different things.

I thought it was generous to give Ibragimov more than one round and a draw round.

Lederman's cards are not always bad, but sometimes they are more than questionable indeed.

I remember him scoring the first round of Brewster-Klitschko a draw during which Brewster did absolutely **** all besides being a punching bag, and giving the 3rd round to Brewster because he landed one left hook, opposed to Klitschko's 15 jabs and 10 powershots every single one of which landed flush.

That's your problem, you can't keep track of punches that actually landed in the round. Klitschko did not land more often, and most of his punches didn't land that hard in more than half the rounds of the fight.

Sounds like someone focused their eyes on Klitchko's body all night, and I am not talking about Ibragimov either.

When punches to the body are all that lands between both fighters, you have to focus on that. Because Klitschko was landing nothing of note at all during many rounds.
