So are you saying that Pacquiao is not in his prime, and that he was at his best at 130/135? Because many have made the argument that he's in his prime now and that he's a better fighter now than he was at 130 and below.
It is an embarrassment to boxing. Casual fans think that this is the best boxing has to offer. Forget watching any other fighter. This guy who fights in a very low weight class is "the best". These awards are petty and no serious weight can reasonably be attached to them. Only objective measures are worth anything. You can't rate a guy on intangibles couples with subjective criteria and hysteria.
Pac is in his prime now but his best weight NOW is 140lbs. Which weight do you think Pac is more effective, at 140lbs or 147lbs? It's the same as Floyd fighting at 154lbs. He may still be very good at 154lbs but his best weight is still at 147lbs.
That's a very difficult question to answer. Pac is 3-0 at WW with 2 KO's. He's also beaten 2 top 5 Welters. He's only fought once at 140 and that was against Hatton. He may not even be able to comfortably make 140 anymore.
