Naw pacman has never schooled any elite fighter who was in their prime and for sure Hatton will be in the best shape of his life. He's a peaking fighter and the bigger man... Hell no pacman aint gonna dominate him, that's funny. I favor pacman slightly and it's going to be a close fight.
He will not be "schooling" someone of Hattons experience and class. What happens when Hatton sticks his head on Pac's chest and drives him towards the ropes. Hatton is no Pavlik or Margarito, he does not just come forward in straight lines eating punches.
I want to see how he takes Hattons power. A few well placed body shots from Hatton and the speed might not be such a factor.
It`ll be a much closer fight than many people think. But I think the accuracy of Pacquiao' punches will make the difference.
you're being dismissive and, i think, a bit innacurrate there. hatton, pavlik and margarito are all 'bullying' fighters - but most effective against technically inadequate opponents or opponents who are poor movers. i've always said that JJM nailed the blueprint for beating pacman and i'll stand by that. a technically superior fighter who is a positive and aggressive counter puncher - and thats exactly what floyd will have to do if he fights pacman, and i believe he will. i just dont think hatton moves well enough, is fast enough or will be effectively aggressive enough to beat pacman.
I know I was a bit dismissive here, I was just giving an argument for the other side. I think the deciding factors will be if Hatton can get in without taking too many punches and if Pac can deal with Hatton when/if he does.
