to rile up his fans. of course anyone who will pick pac here will be ridiculed. but this is a big improvement instead of matching him up with an amazing but green prospect now we are back with pac being matched with a fellow ATG.

to the TS, pac's best showing here would be to last the whole 12 rounds, though i doubt he will last the whole 15 if this fight happened during arguello's time.

pac would not enter the ring because of cowardice here. besides he prefers to fight old and shot mexicans. :D

gotta agree on your analysis. if it is 12 rounds, pac might last although it would be a one sided beatdown for arguello since for sure, he will pick pacman apart with his beautiful counters and economical yet precise combinations, with pacman backing away and missing his shots against this fluid nicaraguan.

if marquez (counterpunching) and morales (1st fight, tall and lanky with enough arsenal to keep him off pac) could give him a hard time, then arguello will be a nightmare for him

if it is 15 rounds, arguello via tko or ko around 14th or even 15th round.

    well we will never know.

i just couldn't find a way for pac to win on this one maybe except from a freakish left staright that arguello would not expect. pac can at most last 12 rounds if he will fight a defensive style of boxing like he employed in his marquez rematch but at 15 rounds, even with his stamina, i couldn't see pac seeing the end of it. just look at arguello's fight with mancini, even though boom-boom was young and bull strong, arguello picked him apart intelligently and patiently.

he also fought all the best super-feather in his time (including navarette) and beat them decisively. something pac failed to do against marquez.

Only thing Pac has going for him here is his atheleticsm and speed, but with Arguello's height and timing, thats easily nullified. Arguellow wide UD or mid KO.

What its your definition of prime? Because Morales sure as hell wasn't his best when he fought Pac the first time. You have to go back a few years before that to see that, and if you guys don't see a difference you didn't watch him much before Pac.

See this video. And by the way Im not arguing he was shot in the 1st Pac fight- anyone who says that is equally wrong.

for me, morales was past his prime (1st pac fight) like pac is past his prime now. morales lost a close but clear one then to a still very good barrera while pac now won a narrow one against marquez. so anyone would beat pac at present is a great win regardless if pac is past his best now.

This is exactly right. What we are watching is a Pac who is still clearly effective in the ring, but if you watched him in his younger years you know that some of the freshness and athleticism is starting to wear thin. And Morales was just the same when he first fought Pac- not prime, but still with enough athleticism and, this is the key-- experience-- to carry the day.

Some Pac fans have said that Pac is the best at 130 and below ever.

PacDbest comes to mind, he has stated that several times, so I guess is ok to see what people think. BTW, I haven't seen PacDbest posting on this thread, or any of Pac hardcore fans.

Arguello was a rare talent in the ring, but more than that a stylistic nightmare for Pac. I don't see a way for Pac to win.
